Revolution Audio is excited to announce a new tour partnership with fast-rising jazz, swing and musical theatre vocalist Erin Darling-Finan. We will be working with Erin around the South West to provide high quality sound for weddings, private functions and charity events. As a solo vocalist, clarity and vocal quality is imperative, and our recently acquired Allen and Heath Qu-16 Digital Mixer will form the basis for the tour, alongside QSC K10 and DB Technologies M10 loudspeakers, and Shure and Sennheiser Microphones. The dSnake CAT5 connection from the Qu-16 console to the AR2412 stage rack will ensure suitability for the smaller venues Erin regularly visits, and both parties are excited by the opportunities presented by the system’s Qu-Drive integrated multi-track recorder. We are also fully equipped for Erin’s outdoor performances, especially following our recent addition of 63A and 32A Power Distribution to our Hire and Production Inventories. Our recent investment in further equipment is testament to our track record in providing high-quality solutions for events of all types and sizes, from the largest bands to the most intimate acoustic shows. The Qu-16 is already proving a popular component in our inventory and continues to offer us more flexibility for smaller events. Now in it’s second year, the national Women of God Conference has experienced significant growth with a near doubling in attendance, and once again Revolution Audio were on hand to provide a full audio production service. Once again held at The GateWay in Yeovil, we built on our strong partnerships with both the venue and the conference team, combining the best of the installed system with Revolution Audio equipment to deliver live sound for all the conference speakers, as well as touring worship band Sound of Wales. We utilised the existing installation of a Nexo PS15 and LS1200 Loudspeaker System, and Behringer X32 digital console to allow usage of the P16 Personal Monitor Systems. Due to the seating layout, RCF Art 310 Cabinets were deployed as frontfills, with appropriate alignment and EQ applied to the whole system. Our ever-popular DB Technologies M10-2 Monitors were also used on stage, as well as a substantial selection of Shure, Sennheiser and Audix Microphones. We also provided full live recordings of the worship sets, a sample of which can be found below. Cath Woolridge from Sound of Wales praised the “brilliant” quality of the recording and mixing. The conference continues to expand at an impressive pace, and here at Revolution Audio we continue to work closely with the team to plan solutions for future events. Speaking about this year’s conference, organiser Lisa Webb said “Thankyou once again for doing an absolutely fantastic job. We are so very thankful to you for everything you’ve done to help make this conference a success.” To find out more about how our audio services can make your next event a success, click here. |
