As part of the selection process for a new candidate in Yeovil, Somerset, the Yeovil Conservative Association turned to Revolution Audio to provide audio services for the “Open Primary” event, where any registered voter could attend and be part of the candidate selection process. Held at The GateWay venue in Yeovil, we utilized the existing installation of Nexo PS15s with LS1200 sub-bass units, as well as the installed Behringer X32 Digital Console. Four extra wireless systems were provided to allow for the smooth production of the event, both on the stage and around the room, with audience engagement a key part of the evening. A high-end DPA 4066 earset capsule was used, along with three handheld systems, all part of a Sennheiser EW300 G3 system. Directional antennas assured an unobtrusive, yet reliable and high performance system, and all receivers were monitored remotely from the mix position through the use of a Mac system, and Sennheiser’s Wireless Systems Manager software. The quality of sound and smoothness of the production was commented on by audience members and organisers alike, and serves as a testimony to Revolution Audio’s continued excellence in the delivery of high quality, customer focussed audio services.
