Youth work organisation Cambridge Youth For Christ recently organised a superb evening of live music for the youth of the area. Held in the village of Warboys, the village church rocked to the sound of Empire Nation, while Revolution Audio continued its well-established partnership with Ministry of Music, providing full live audio services to the event. Having traveled across the country with our full “A Rig” system of HK Audio Projector, the system amply filled the venue, and thanks to the clear coverage and processing offered in our Soundcraft Si Compact console, helped overcome the acoustical challenges of the church building. A selection of Audix, Shure and Audiotechnica microphones, along with BSS DI Boxes, captured clear sound on stage, with the Si Compact easily handling all sources, as well as five in-ear monitor mixes. The organisers commented on the superb punch and clarity of the system, with drums giving a clear, deep sound throughout the space, while vocals and guitars richly filled out the rest of the mix with clear intelligibility. Lexicon reverbs and delays were also used, adding further depth and richness to the sound. As part of a wider week of outreach activity, the event was considered a huge success, with a large and enthusiastic crowd. Both the organisers and Empire Nation were extremely happy with all aspects of the audio provided, and we continue to develop our partnership with Ministry of Music for the future. From rock concerts to acoustic evenings, weddings to conferences, Revolution Audio offers audio services for all event types. Why not get in touch with us to discuss your requirements with us?
