Bristol based, electro-ska sensation The Magnus Puto travelled to the Red Brick Building in Glastonbury in June, to help launch the new “Bocabar Pop Up” events in the community owned and run venue. Revolution Audio maintained its position as sound provider of choice for the venue, following a successful event in March with Chris Jagger. Bringing together sounds best described as “hooks like the Arctic Monkeys combined with the vocal dexterity of Plan B and the energy of the Specials”, the Revolution Audio “A Rig” was the system of choice, with the HK Audio Projector system amply filling the space with deep, punchy bass, crisp mids and clear highs. Six monitor feeds on stage amply satisfied the band’s requirements, while a large assortment of Audix, Shure and Audiotechnica microphones captured the action on stage. A Soundcraft Si Compact digital console, along with remote CAT5 stage box allowed tremendous mixing flexibility while keeping a compact footprint. Industry-standard Lexicon Reverbs, DBX Dynamics and BSS EQs provided superb flexibility and sound quality. Indeed, numerous members of the audience approached us afterwards to comment on the superbly mixed and balanced sound, with clear separation between all instruments and vocals, as well as detail and clarity. It was another successful night for the Red Brick Building, and we’re already looking ahead to next month’s event! Revolution Audio offers audio production services for events of all shapes and sizes. To find out more, click here, or contact us to discuss your next event with us.
