Revolution Audio was selected by New Light Promotions to provide full audio services for the exciting Yeovil-based music event “Loud and Alive”. Raising money for Cancer Research UK the event brought together some of the best rock music talent from the south west, featuring bands Maverick, Last One Out, Hundred Days and Apherium. Revolution Audio, a strongly established player in the area, once again equipped the central-Yeovil venue with HK Audio Projector for Front of House, DB Technologies M10s and QSC K10s for Monitors, and a Soundcraft Si Compact for Mixing. All of this, combined with Shure, Audix, Sennheiser and Audiotechnica microphones and BSS DI Boxes, created a full, rich and punchy sound that truly did justice to the music being performed. Artists were also full of praise for the system and engineering, with Plymouth-based Last One Out complimenting the high-quality monitor mixing and on-stage sound. At Revolution Audio were are proud to be be based in Yeovil, and from the very early days we have worked together with promoters to support the development of local music events in the town. The success of “Loud and Alive” has been a big development for the area, and we’re happy that our personal and professional service continues to make events like this possible.
